Kyra and I on the boat!

Then it was going to take us to Watson's Bay but since most of the people got off on the boat at the Zoo stop the woman who was the announcer (Judy) came back and asked us and the only other couple on board if we would want to go see a whale! Ummm who doesn't want to see that :) While on our way to see the whale the Captain came and asked Kyra and I if we would want to come to up to where he drives the boat (the wheelhouse) so we could see the whale breech easier. So of course we did :) We did see the whale breech but from a far distance. After that we got to actually DRIVE the boat!! It was so much fun. We drove it into Watson's Bay where we got off and walked up to see the rock cliffs meet the ocean, so pretty.
Such pretty breaking water

After Watson's Bay we got back on the boat and went around the main harbor and bays again. We saw some really pretty sailboats and really expensive apartments on the wharf that were $1.5 million just for a 2 bedroom apartment!! Crazy!
We had lunch on a small island called Shark Island. No there were no sharks around it but it is in the shape of a shark :) It was such a nice spot to have lunch, the only thing on the island was a couple of park benches and that's it!

Then the same Captain from before (Captain Hendrick) came and picked us up and let us drive the boat again!! This time there were many people on the boat so we really had to watch where the waves were coming from and not to hit the wakes too much.

After this day our feet were exhausted and all we did was cook dinner and watch a movie at the hostel and went to bed. :)
The next day we went on the Hop On Hop Off Bus Tour of Sydney and other areas. It was fun because it let us go to a beach on the other side of Watson's Bay where we were the day before. The beach was called Bondi Beach! It was a little cloudy this day but it was still such a nice day. Holy crap the water was so pretty and the sand was soft and felt so good between the toes :) But before we went on the beach we went to a place called Moo Burger, where a girl named Ashley told us to go and get a milkshake. I am for sure glad that we did that cause it was AMAZING!! I got the moo shake which was pretty much an oreo milkshake with extra chocolate in it...who wouldn't love that?!

Once we were done with the bus tour we went back to the hostel to relax for a little bit before we decided that since it was our last night in Sydney that we need to treat ourselves to an Australian Dinner! And boy did we find a great place to eat in a neighborhood called The Rocks. The Rocks is where the first settlers (convicts) were placed on the island. There is a restaurant called the Australian Hotel that is known for its odd pizza. We ordered a pizza that was half-EMU and half- KANGAROO!!!! Oh my gosh was it actually good :)
Side with tomatoes was emu and the other was the kangaroo :)
After our really interesting meal and finding it odd that we just ate Kangaroo we took a nice slow walk through the city and back to the hostel.
If anyone reading this has every wanted to go to Sydney I highly recommend seeing it! It is a great city, very open and lots of parks that makes you feel like you are not in a city/suburbs of a little over 6 million people.
